1. Fasten each mounting plate to a sound wood post or masonry surface.
2. Set the gate-side hinge onto the plate and insert the 5/8 in. pin.
3. Position the clamp around the 1-3/8 in. gate frame and tighten it securely. Repeat for the upper and lower hinge.
