FAQ
Is a 3 3/4 inch cabinet pull the same as a 96 mm pull?
They are commonly sold as the same size category, but the measurements are not mathematically identical. Three and three-quarter inches equals 95.25 mm, while 96 mm equals about 3.78 inches. Products in this collection use 96 mm hole spacing.
Will a 96 mm pull fit my existing 3 3/4 inch holes?
It may fit because the difference is only 0.75 mm, but the fit is not guaranteed. Measure the existing holes in millimeters and test one pull before ordering a full set.
Can I replace 3 3/4 inch pulls with 4 inch pulls?
Not without changing the holes. A 4-inch pull has 101.6 mm hole spacing, which is 5.6 mm wider than a 96 mm pull. Choose 96 mm hardware if you want to reuse the existing holes.
Does the listed size refer to the total handle length?
No. It refers to the center-to-center distance between the mounting holes. Overall length and projection vary by design.
Will a replacement pull cover marks left by the old hardware?
That depends on the width and shape of the mounting bases. Matching the hole spacing helps the screws line up, but it does not guarantee that the new pull will cover the complete outline left by the old one.
